Company Policy

1) Health, safety and Environment policy:

Vidur Logistics Pvt. Ltd. Is committed to follow and practice all Health, safety, security & environment rules & regulations in conduct of all business activities. It is the foremost priority of the company to comply with all Health, safety, security & environment requirements of our customers as well as local authorities.
We ensure that all the drivers and vehicles are fit under government rules & regulations and well equipped with all the safety tools and necessities required in the vehicle or as mentioned specifically by the customer .
We also conduct tool box meeting with drivers & provide trainings. We comply and cooperate fully with all laws and statutes of the public authorities relating to safety regulations and standards and also encourage those who contribute to improve HSSE performance.

2) Dangerous goods handling policy:

The drivers are given yearly training through our office & Institute of Security and Fire Technology about the driving of hazardous goods vehicle and how to handle the hazardous chemicals.
Drivers are trained for using emergency response plan in case of spill/ accident case.
Trained for using PPE
Trained for different sign & symbol used for labelling of material in the industries

3) Personal protective Equipment policy:

Drivers are given training about the PPE and how to handle the PPE while loading and unloading and also in emergency situation.
Use the PPE while entering in the factory premises.
P.P.E Includes:

Safety Gloves
Ear plugs.
Helmet
Face Shield
Chemical & fire preventing clothes
Safety shoes
Safety goggles
The PPE are regularly checked by the supervisors. The PPE is regularly replaced from time to time.

4) Road Safety management policy:

We are committed to promote high standards of road driver safety. Our goal is to eliminate all avoidable vehicle accidents. Effective leadership and administration are vital to success of the driver safety program. Safe practices will be adopted during fuelling operations. Drivers need to be aware of the hazards of smoking and using mobile phones while dispensing fuel.
Every driver of our transport has a responsibility to ensure:

Safe driving at all times and within speed limits.
Adherence to all statutory norms and RTO standards on transport safety.
No passengers are carried in any truck/ trailers of our transport.
Use of seat belts by all occupants.
The vehicle is never driven by anyone who is under the influence of Alcohol, Drugs or any other substance.

5) Alcohol & drug policy:

The misuse of drugs and alcohol can be a serious workplace issue. They not only can lead to significant health problems but anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol can be a hazard to themselves and others.
Vidur Logistics Pvt Ltd. considers it as its duty to ensure its employees/ Drivers' health, safety and welfare at work. We would be committing an offence to knowingly allow an employee to work whilst under the influence of alcohol or drugs where it poses a threat to the health and safety of that employee or other people. To knowingly allow controlled drugs to be used on our premises is also an offence.
Vidur logistics Pvt ltd best practice is that the employees/ Drivers have a written policy on drugs and alcohol in the workplace and are strict on the policy. We offer advice for drivers who may have a problem, but also clearly explain any possible disciplinary actions. We encourage workers to seek help and guide workers to such sources.

6) Spill Management policy:

If there is any leakage or chemical spills out of the tank, no one is found do not allowed nearby.
The driver should wear the PPE.
Examine the leakage and spilled chemical. Give the information to the police and fire deportment immediately. Give the information to the loading and unloading plant.
Information to the Manager in charge of the product.
Two Fire Extinguishers is placed in the cabin. The drivers are well trained to use this fire extinguisher. These fire extinguishers are periodically serviced and maintained by authorized dealer.
With the help of fire service keep the tank in cooler condition.
If leakage is not stop material should be transferred to the spare vehicles.
Once the material is transferred move the loaded vehicle to a safer place.

7) Accident policy:

In the case of accident we have given following instructions to our drivers.
In the case of an emergency occurs on the en route the driver has to block the vehicles, which would be going near the vehicle.
If there is any leakage in the tank is found do not allow anyone nearby.
The driver should wear the PPE.
Examine the leakage in the tank. Give the information to the police and fire department immediately. Give the information to the loading and unloading plant.
Information to the Manager in charge of the product.
Stop the vehicle as soon as the accident occurs, and to study the accidents.. In case of leakage takes the vehicle to a safer place.
Inform to police station along with term card to inform about the accident and to take the precaution steps immediately.
As well as inform the accident to the respective company and Loading & unloading point.
Not allowing any one to use mobile phones lighting Cigarette etc.
In case of fire using fire extinguisher stops the fire & Use PPE is must.
With the help of fire service keep the tank in cooler condition.
Once the information is received information should be given to the customer and the loading place.
If possible contact the nearby police station to give protection of the vehicle and control traffic.
With the help of near associate office arrange all the necessary equipments and the time required for bringing these necessary equipments to the accident point.
Report to the accident spot with all the necessary equipments, like crane, spares etc Study the accidents.
Inform the Insurance people about the accident.
Investigation is carried out how the accident has occurred.
Planning program is carried out in such a way that this type of accidents do not occur in future.
